The 2016 AC Academic Achievement Awards

   

  

   On Saturday the 9th of July 2016, Assumption College conducted its annual Academic Diploma and Certificate Ceremony, which school faculty and parents in attendance.

There were 79 students attending this ceremony from the English Program.

- 74 students received certificates

- 5 students received diplomas

Recognition of Academic Achievement

 

1. Honors

   Honors are awarded based on the following grade point average (GPA) ranges:

         First Class Honors:      GPA 4.00

         Second Class Honors: GPA 3.75 - 3.99

         Third Class Honors:     GPA 3.50 - 3.74

   In addition, to be eligible for honors, students must never receive a “0” in any subject and must pass all students’ development activities, the Desired Characteristics criteria, and the Evaluation of Reading, Analytical Thinking, and Writing; and in addition these students must have good conduct.

2. Diploma  

   A special diploma will be considered for Mathayom Suksa 3 students who receive First Class Honors, Second Class Honors, or Third Class Honors for 3 consecutive years. A student must never receive a grade of “0” in any subject, must pass all students’ development activities, the Desired Characteristics criteria, and the Evaluation of Reading, Analytical Thinking, and Writing; and in addition these students must also have good conduct.

 

3. Top Students - Certificates by Subjects  

   The points from 2 semesters in an academic year are used to calculate these certificates. The students who are qualified for the certificates must earn points in the top ten in each course and the points earned must not be below the criteria as shown below:

4. Certificate of Merit 

Eligible students must have been a school representative in an academic competition and been awarded from the project or work submitted; students must also have good conduct.
