Students in Teacher Chris’s EP M1 Science class developed their microscopy skills by observing prepared plant and animal cell slides under the microscope. Students practiced focusing and using the microscope correctly, then carefully observed and recorded the structures they could see. By comparing the plant and animal cells, students noted their similarities and differences and drew what they observed. This hands-on activity helped students build confidence with microscope techniques and understand how plant and animal cells differ in structure.
