Science Lab: Frog dissection

Students in Teacher James’ EP M2 Foundation Science 3 class carried out a frog dissection to investigate the anatomy and functions of the major organ systems. Using a guided worksheet, students carefully dissected the frog and identified organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, intestines, and kidneys. They separated and examined each organ, then matched their observations with the anatomical diagrams and functions provided in the worksheet. This hands-on investigation helped students develop practical dissection skills while strengthening their understanding of frog anatomy, organ functions, and how the different body systems work together to support life.
