How can we observe the cells inside our own bodies?

  Students in Teacher Chris’s M1 Science class explored their own cheek cells through a hands-on microscopy activity. Students collected a buccal cavity swab, stained the sample with methylene blue, and prepared it for observation under the microscope. They learned how to perform a proper swabbing technique to collect cells and practiced preparing and viewing biological samples under the microscope. This practical activity helped students develop essential microscopy skills while allowing them to observe real cells from their own bodies.
