Hands-On Anatomy:
EP M5 Students Explore Pig Hearts in Biology Class
Students in Teacher Nicholas’s EP M5 Universal Biology 2 class took part in a hands-on pig heart dissection to explore the structure and function of the cardiovascular system. Using real surgical tools, they identified heart chambers, valves, and blood vessels bringing textbook diagrams to life. The activity deepened their understanding of mammalian anatomy and its relevance to human biology, offering a powerful connection between theory and practice.
