EPAC Takes our EP-M4 – 6 Students on a Successful Overnight Field Trip!
From the 23rd - 24th of August 2559, the English Program of Assumption College (EPAC) conducted a “Quality of Life Development and Volunteer Camp” for our EP-M4-6 students for the 2016 academic year. This event was held at the Mangrove Forest Learning Center, Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Chong Samsan School and Phutawan Resort and Camping Center in Sattahip, Chonburi.
The students planted part of a mangrove forest at the Learning Center; altogether more than 100 trees. At the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, students learned that the mission of the center is to help protect sea turtles. For the activity, the Sea Turtle Conservation Center officer assigned students to perform a duty at the turtle breeding area, preparing the turtles to be released into the pond.
At Chong Samsan School, the students met with younger students (Anuban 2 – P.4). All EPAC students prepared presents, such as stationery, sports equipment, toys, or clothes – with each EPAC student giving a gift to 1 younger student.
EPAC students also participated in station-based activities for unity at the beach. In addition, our teachers invited the lecturer to tell our students how to survive in case of a natural disaster.
This field trip achieved its visions, which were: natural conservation training, volunteering, charity, and learning the value of collaborative unity among students.
