On Wednesday the 29th of May 2019, Assumption College conducted  the 'Student Council Election' for the academic year 2019. 

         It took place on the basketball court, in the F.Helaire building and on the red brick assembly ground. During morning assembly the voting method was explained to everyone. Student councils are important because they serve to engage students in learning about democracy and leadership.

 

        In the election the students could choose from the following three parties:

 

1. AC forward
2. New future AC
3. Enter AC

     

        The election ran very smoothly thanks to the hard work of the teachers and students who helped administer this important democratic procedure.
