EPAC Upper School Students Participate in a Very Successful Life Skills Camp!

The English Program of Assumption College (EP) organized and led a Quality of Life Development/Volunteer Camp for high school students (EP-M 4-6) on the 3rdand 4th of August 2015, in Petchburi and Prachuabkirikhan provinces. There were 14 teachers from our program escorting the students during this event.  Our students visited The Sufficient Economy Learning Center at Bandin, Phetchaburi Province, and the“Chang-Hua-Mun” Royal Initiative Project, in Phetchaburi, at the Pah-La-Aue National Park, to build salt licks, and also visited the Tah-Yang-Chum School. While there, representatives of our program donated school supplies, socks, dolls, lunch baskets and fruit to the Tah-Yang-Chum School. The director of the school welcomed our teachers and students, then our students delivered the goods.

Through this activity students acquired a lot of experience and knowledge in areas such as agriculture, domestic animal care, forest ecology, the production of biological herbs, building salt licks, and glider making. Developing (and maintaining) a good mindset, this experience will help the students to have good physical, emotional, and intellectual health and also help them further develop the capacity for sharing (demonstrating charity toward others).
