EP and ENS Teachers Come Together for

2 ICT Training Sessions

On Friday the 11th and 18th of November 2016, the English Program (EP) hosted “ICT Training for Teachers” for EP and ENS staff members at Computer Lab 1 on the 5th floor of the St. Louis-Marie building from 8:30 – 9:20 am.

The purpose of this training was to help teachers learn to manage their instruction time more effectively by using technology. The programs in this training were:

               -  Google Drive/Docs

               -  Google Forms & Quizzes – Designing and linking forms/quizzes, then importing them into grade books or

                  spreadsheets

               -  Google Sheets - Absolute/relative references, named ranges, functions, and data validation

Following both ICT sessions, teachers gave positive feedback about the training!

Mr. Jamie Amstutz, a Computers teacher with the English Program, was the trainer on these two dates.
